BOC Group was founded more than 20 years ago as a spin-off of the University of Vienna. Since then, we have been deeply involved with research and spreading knowledge alongside our commercial offerings. Many of our employees are presently active as lecturers or guest lecturers. The constant information exchange with national and international educational institutions as well as our vast experience in research projects is a valuable asset for all. We are pleased to be able to give something back and to have this opportunity to provide students, lecturers and researchers with free platforms and content in IT-based management through the BOC Academy programmes.
The Academy programme is intended for professors as part of their courses and for students involved in scientific work. You can find the detailed information for professors here and for students here.
No! The Academy programme does not incur any costs for professors or students.
Only a professor or lecturer can apply for course access, this includes an environment (digital classroom) for an entire course as well as access for the lecturer and all students of this course. Students can apply for a student account as part of their scientific work (final thesis, such as bachelor's or master's thesis or PhD thesis). Only the single student has access to this.

The account provides free access to ADONIS or ADOIT for the duration of a course including preparation and review time (max. 8 months) for the lecturer and for all students. Access is a SaaS based, i.e no on-site installation is required. All access is via a standard web browser.
Both the lecturers and all students have access to the same database. A private area is available for the lecturers, which cannot be seen by the other participants. Additionally, a public area where content can be provided by the professor to the students (e.g. examples, assignments, etc.). The students each have their own folder which cannot be seen by the other participants (e.g. for taking exams etc.). In addition, a collaboration area is available in which all students and professors can work together. In this area, the participants can also freely define subfolder structures.

It can either be specialized know-how on the software (e.g. analyses, optimizations, etc.) or a specialist focus in terms of commercial practical experience. If you are interested in organizing a guest lecture, please contact us.
With more than 20 years of experience in process and IT management the diversity of topics has become incredibly broad. If you are interested in a guest lecture from BOC as part of your course, just let us know and we will be more than happy to support you.
